Spider-Man:The Animated Movie

Background:From 1994-1998, FOX ran a TV Show about Spider-Man called Spider-Man:The Animated Series. It aired 65 episodes before being canceled by the network. The show is known for not having a real finale. The final two episodes centered around Spider-Man traveling to different dimensions teaming with alternate versions of himself to try and thwart Spider-Carnage's plan to destroy the universe. He does this and at the end Madame Web says that she will help him find Mary Jane(who had disappeared from his dimension after a battle with the Green Goblin. I will be doing 4 "movies" based off of this show. The 1st is entitled simply Spider-Man:The Animated Movie.

Act 1
(Madam Webs lair)

Madam Web:Well Spiderman I’ve done all I could

Spiderman:But Madam Web we have to find Mary Jane

Madam Web:I have grown weak and weary throughout this entire search and I feel that this trip has only aged me faster

Spiderman:What about me? I have to find Mary Jane!

Madam Web:Perhaps some other time, until then Spiderman you shall return to your normal life

(Spiderman is sent outside of Madam Web’s lair on the sidewalk)

Spiderman:Its hopeless, I’ll never find Mary Jane

(He looks over at The George Washington Bridge)

Spiderman:(in head)If only I kept her out of danger, away from my other life its useless if I can’t be happy no one else should be!

(He takes off his mask and suit and throws it in a dumpster)

Spiderman(in head)This is to a legacy of hate and suffering

(He walks away in normal street clothes and arrives home a little over an hour later)

Aunt Mae:Peter, where on earth have you been, its been 2 weeks!

Peter Parker:I, um needed some time to myself so I’ve been in Boston. The haste stems from the abruptness of the leave

(Out of the living room, Anna Watson walks in much to the frown of Peter)

Anna:Must’ve been a guilt trip. I find it convenient that you vanish around the same time my niece vanishes

Aunt Mae:That is enough Anna, its not Peter’s fault this all happened

Peter(in head):If only she knew...

(He walks up the stairs)

(We cut to The Kingpin’s lair)

The Kingpin:Its been 2 weeks and still no sign of Spiderman

Landon:You should consider it a blessing that he has vanished

The Kingpin:It just doesn’t seem right

(The next day we find Peter back to work at the Daily Bugle)

Jonah Jameson:Parker welcome back to the Bugle I would’ve fired ya but you’re my only towards finding Spiderman

Peter:I don’t think I’ll be covering any Spiderman stories anytime soon sir

Jonah:What do you mean?

Peter:I feel my association with Spiderman has only brought pain and devastation towards me and my loved ones. Even the people going after Spiderman try to get through me to find him and its starting to affect my life

Jonah:Fine Parker, you’re fired!

Peter:Fired?!

Jonah:Yes, fired! If you aren’t going to do this for me then you’re gone, nothing to me. Get out of my office!

(Peter frustrated storms out of the office. Behind him Robbie walks in)

Robbie:Why did you just fire Peter?

Jonah:He’s useless to me, Robbie and if you don’t watch your back I’ll fire you too! Get out of my office, I’ve spent years trying to find this menace and no leads have come


(We cut to Peter outside)

Peter(in head):I’ve lost it all; my job, my wife, my legacy what else could go wrong?

(He accidently bumps into a blonde haired man)

Peter:Oh I’m sorry

The Blonde Haired Man:Its alright, wait a minute…are you Peter Parker?

Peter:Yes I am, why do you…

(As he tries to finishes he is shoved to the ground and kicked in the gut by the man)

The Blonde Haired Man:That’s for Mary Jane you can give it to your buddy Spiderman too!

(He spits on Peter and walks away)

Peter(in head):Mary Jane? Who is this guy? Ah, maybe I do need a vacation, I have to get away from New York and start over again

(He walks away in pain)

(We cut back to Jameson’s office where we find him at his desk he glances at the picture of his late-wife)

Jonah(with a sigh):Joan, I have failed you

(There is a knock on his door)

Jonah:Come in

(Robbie enters with a homeless man)

Robbie:This man has something of your interest

Jonah:What is it?

The Homeless Man:Spiderman’s suit

Jonah:Are you kidding me, hand it here

(He throws it to Jonah he feels around the costume)

Jonah:The look, the texture(he sniffs it)the smell, its Spiderman alright and it appears that he’s given up. Yet another victory for Jigsaw Jameson

The Homeless Man:Could I get a reward or anything?

Jonah:Uh sure…heres 5 bucks

The Homeless Man:Enough to drink off of

(He walks away)

Jonah:Robbie, I want you to put this on the Front Page, “Jigsaw Jameson defeats Spiderman”

Robbie:What do you plan on doing to the suit?

Jonah:Auctioning off of course, money Robbie this could go for millions!

Robbie:Why not just give it to Peter, he tried helping you all these years

Jonah:Forget Parker, he gave up, I on the other hand never surrendered. I defeated Spiderman!

End Scene 1

Act 2

(We find Aunt Mae watching TV, Peter walks in)

News Reporter:We interrupt this program to take you to the Daily Bugle where J. Jonah Jameson has an announcement

(As Parker hears this he stops walking up the stairs)

Jonah:My fellow citizens the manhunt is over today we found Spiderman's suit

(Peter turns and walks down to the couch and sits next to Aunt Mae)

Jonah:As you all know for the last few years this city has dealt with this evil dispicable criminal but today victory is ours as the menace has surrendered. I must say that this is a red letter day in New York and this Saturday we'll be auctioning off the suit at town hall.

Aunt Mae:Its a shame Spiderman gave up with the way the city is these days its not even safe for anyone to walk the streets and he was the only thing helping us.

Peter:Maybe he just got tired of being insulted. I mean when you are working every day of the week to help people and get no thanks it does get a bit tedious

Aunt Mae:Yes, but Peter its like what your Uncle Ben would say when life hurts just keep moving and things will get better

Peter(in head):Yeah but when life takes away the one thing that mean't most to you life doesn't have much meaning afterwards

(We cut to a shot of The Kingpin watching Jameson's broadcast on TV)

Jonah(on TV):So I repeat Saturday at 3pm I will be auctioning off Spiderman's suit

(Kingpin turns off the TV)

Kingpin:So Spiderman has vanished. Hmm...I got an idea

Landon:What would you be thinking of?

Kingpin:We take the suit and we buy it.

Landon:What do you want me to do?

Kingpin:Find anyone that has been affected by Spiderman and have them come here Saturday around 7ish.

Landon:Will do sir

(We go back to Peter on a computer)

Peter(in head):All these sites and no rooms for rent

(The phone rings)

Peter:Hello?

(Theirs an answer on the other line its Harry Osborn)

Harry:Pete, its Harry, look I'm sorry about what happened with MJ and with what happened at your wedding. Look buddy, umm how would you like to move back in, theres a new guy who'll be living with us. His name is Ben Reilly, he went to school with us a few years ago but moved because his father took a new job in Buffalo. I know threes a crowd but how about it

Peter:I guess but how much rent do I have to pay? I'm kind of out of a job at the moment

Harry:Its alright, I'm reopening Oscorp, how would you like to work in the research department? You'll be making upwards of 30,000 a year in about a year or two as soon as we can get the company back on its feet

Peter(with a smile):I'll take it

Harry:Thats great Pete we start back up on Monday and you can move in at anytime

Peter:Well Thanks Harry

Harry:Talk to you later, Pete

Peter:See ya

(He hangs up)

Peter(in head):This is great I'd hate to abandon Aunt Mae again. I think I should ask her first

(He walks downstairs we he finds Aunt Mae washing dishes)

Peter:Aunt Mae, I want to ask you something

Aunt Mae:Hold up Peter, I got some news, I'm leaving this home

Peter:You...are?

Aunt Mae:Yes I plan on moving to California with my sister Rose and her family. I feel I have been a burden to you long enough

Peter:Aunt Mae, you haven't been a burden

Aunt Mae:You've been taking care of me for too long, Peter. Its time that we both move on with our lives to bigger, better things. I'm turning 60 soon and I'd like to see the other side of the country. I've lived here all my life. Some memories good but others bad and I'd just like to leave it all behind and spend my final years in forgottenance of the past. I'll be selling sometime in the next month unless you want it Peter

Peter:Take the money Aunt Mae, its your house and I feel its time for me to move on to. Harry offered to let me move back in with him and I'll be starting at Oscorp on Monday as a researcher.

Aunt Mae:Oh Peter thats wonderful

(They embrace)

(A few days later we are at the auction)

Jonah:Alright as you all know a few days ago the War on Spiders ended and as a result Spiderman was defeated. The result is the auctioning of his suit for a starting 500,000 dollars

(We pan back to a television where we find Harry watching it)

Jonah:Let the bidding begin

Bidder 1:700,000

Jonah:700,000 going once, twice

Bidder 2:900,000

Jonah:900,000 going once, twice

Bidder 3:2 million dollars

Jonah:2 million going once, twice

Bidder 1:3 million

(Theres a knock on the door, Harry opens it, its Peter with suitcases)

Harry:Oh hey buddy, drop your bags and come on in

Peter:Thanks

(They both sit down and watch the auction)

Harry:It seems that webcrawler gave up

Peter:He probably got tired of all the criticism

Harry:His biggest mistake was what happened with my father, I'm afraid I'll never find him

Peter(in head):I wish I could tell Harry but I've gone this far, why stop and turn back?

Harry:Things haven't been the same since dad vanished, but I guarentee his dream of Oscorp will come true. Trust me Pete, me and you are going to help get things back on there feet. What do you thing of Jameson?

Peter:What do you mean?

Harry:What do you think of the guy who fired you?

Peter:If he wants to get rid of me, let him because as far as I'm concerned, I'm going up and he's going down. I don't need The Bugle

(We go back to the auction where we find them still bidding)

Jonah:15 million going once, twice, so...

(He is interrupted)

Voice:300 million dollars

Jonah:Once, twice, sold to Wilson Fisk

Peter(in head):The Kingpin! What would he want with the suit?

Jonah:Congratulations Fisk now will that be upfront or...?

Fisk:Checks in the mail, Jameson

Harry:Of all people to buy it, one of the men who ruined my father. I think Fisk hired Spiderman to ruin him

Peter:I don't think Spiderman would work with someone like Fisk, Harry

Harry:How would you know?

Peter:He just doesn't seem like that type of guy. He stands for whats good in the world not for people like Fisk.

Harry:Either way two scumbags working together, I know it

Peter(frowning slightly):So wheres this new roommate of ours?

Harry:Ben? He said he had business to take care of and he'll be in late. I hope you two get along considering I have both of you working in my research department

Peter:Where did he come from?

Harry:He attended school with us for a few years but moved to Buffalo and graduated from Boston Tech. The guys a real genious.

Peter:Wheres my room at?

Harry:Here let me show you

(They walk upstairs)

(Meanwhile we return to Kingpin's lair where we find him sitting at his desk, Landon walks in)

Landon:Sir we got three potential candidates

Kingpin:Show me them

Landon:We only got one in person and one by monitor
Kingpin:Show me them
Landon:This is Dennis Caradine, he claims that Spiderman caused him to be sent to prison

Kingpin:Too old, I'm looking for someone younger

Landon:Well we got another one and he is here. Allow me to introduce to you Ben Reilly

(The Blonde Haired Man from earlier walks in, he is Ben Reilly)

Kingpin:State your story

Reilly:My name is Ben Reilly, I am a recent graduate from Boston Tech. I have studied Spiderman over the past few years as a fascination of who he is and what he can do. My deal with him is because of him and Peter Parker my beloved Mary Jane Watson vanished without a trace and was possibly murdered by Spiderman. The last she was seen was with Spiderman and she hasn't been seen since. It is my goal to ruin the reputation of Spiderman and find out who he is.

Kingpin:You seem to have a lot of knowledge but I feel I'm looking for someone...

Reilly:What if I told you I have invented Web Cartridges simular to what Spiderman uses

Kingpin:Then you get the job

(Reilly nods his head in delight)

Kingpin:Brilliant with my power and your knowledge we will find Spiderman. Maybe with the humiliation he will come out and reveal himself for who he is

End Act 2

Act 3

(We find Peter and Harry at the house)

Peter:So where exactly is Liz?

Harry:She had to head off to Europe as part of a school trip, she'll be back soon.

Peter:Oh, when do I get a chance to meet Ben?

Harry:I just talked to him today he should be here soon

(There is a knock on the door)

Harry:Ah, that should be him

(He walks to the door and answers)

Harry:Ah, Ben!

Ben:Its great to see you Harry, I mean Mr.Osborn

Harry:Call me Harry. Come on in

(He enters and soon he sees Peter, they make eye contact and Peter stands up)

Peter and Ben(pointing at each other):You!

Ben:So this is what you get, Parker? First you kill the girl I love and now you get a place with the boss of a billion dollar industry?

Peter:I worked to get this Ben and as for your accusations, they're false. Do you really think I would hurt her?

Ben:I don't know what to think, Parker. All I know is that she's gone and your hands are with her blood.

(They walk toward each other ready to fist fight when Harry gets between them)

Harry:Now fellas, just relax, I'm sure this is some misunderstanding.

Ben:It is, I didn't think you'd hire scum like Parker, Harry.

Peter:And I didn't think they gave jobs to jerks like you.

Ben:I'll have you know Pete that I'm a really good guy who just doesn't like people like you. Its people like you and Spiderman that need to spend time in prison. The fact you haven't even been arrested surprises me.

Harry:Just calm down, Ben, we can work this out.

Ben:Absolutely not, I refused to work with this slime ball. Its either him or me. Pick wisely, Osborn.

Harry:Ben, I am not going to fire my best friend.

Ben:So this is how it is?

Harry:Yes

Ben:Well I quit. I hope your company crashes with Parker.

Peter:You shouldn't say anything that you're going to regret.

Ben:Ha, you think I'll regret this? It's going to be you that regrets messing
with me, Parker before its all said and done.

(He leaves slamming the door)

Peter:I'm sorry Harry

Harry:Its alright, I wouldn't want someone like that working with me anyways. Besides as Oscorp grows again we will continue to find some new, better people for the job. Until then its you, me, Debra, Liz, and Dr. Connors running the show at the new and improved Oscorp. Now lets just sit down and relax.

(They turn the TV on)

Reporter:We have a breaking news alert. Merely days after purchasing the suit,

Wilson Fisk has been robbed. Lets go live where we have him holding a press conference.

Fisk:A few hours ago I went into my room where I had kept the Spiderman suit only to find it missing. A window of mine was knocked out and the suit was gone. One can make the assumption that Spiderman himself has returned and taken back the suit. I hereby put out an award of 500,000 dollars to anyone who recovers the suit and an extra 500,000 if recovered within a week.

Harry:I guess Karma is a real you know what.

Peter:Who could've possibly taken the suit?

Harry:The wall crawler himself, its obvious. Who else could've done it

Peter:I don't know. Its really baffling.

(We go to the Daily Bugle where the building is in chaos)

Gloria:Mr.Jameson! I have the list of possible suspects involved.

Jonah:I don't care about that, besides there has to be only one man involved in this and thats Spiderman, himself. Robbie!

(Robbie turns around)

Robbie:Yeah Jonah?

Jonah:I hate to do this but get Parker, sign him to a part time contract and make it full only and only if he captures Spiderman.

Robbie:I'm on it Jonah

Jonah(to self):So you aren't to give up that easily, are ya, Spiderman? Well Jigsaw Jameson believes you got anotiher thing coming.

Act IV
(We find Ben Reilly in the Spiderman suit entering Kingpin's lair)
Kingpin:Ah Mr.Reilly, did you see my press conference.

Ben:It was really effective boss, my only concern is, what if they go after me. I mean I'm not really that athletic, sure I can web around but after a while they're going to catch me quite easily.

Kingpin:That part I thought ahead of. You see Mr.Reilly, a while back I acquired the formula to create the Super Serum. It is the same stuff that was used to create Captain America.

Ben:THE Captain America?

Kingpin:Yes the same, with this serum you will be faster, stronger, and tougher. It has enough power to even exceed the real Spidermans...if he ever tries to intervene in the situation.

Ben:How would I know if he's near me?

Kingpin:I'm positive upon seeing the report he may talk to his informer Peter Parker and issue some kind of press release.

Ben:You want me to take out Parker?

Kingpin:No simply keep a sharp eye on him. I collected some of Spiderman's spider tracers and all you have to do is put one on him at all times. It is quite simular to a GPS tracking device.

(He hands Reilly a box full of them)

Ben:I must say this very impressive, Fisk.

Kingpin:You get to work tomorrow, unless you have something else going.

Ben:Nope, I got absolutely nothing now thanks to that jerk Osborn and that Parker.

Kingpin:Osborn? Harry Osborn?

Ben:Yeah

Kingpin:What misdeeds has Young Osborn done to you?

Ben:Well I found out that Parker was going to work for him at Oscorp and...

Kingpin:Oscorp, you say?

Ben:Yeah Oscorp, his old man used to run it til he was killed.

Kingpin:So young Harry Osborn is rebuilding Oscorp? How would you like to amount some revenge on young Harry Osborn?

Ben:...and Parker too?

Kingpin:Hmm...maybe not him. I have a soft spot for Young Parker. It was him who once saved my life from a villain called The Hobgoblin. I'd only utilize him to get to Spiderman and nothing else.

Ben:Fine, I may need a place to stay for the night.

Kingpin:You can stay here for the night. Just make sure you are not spotted as Spiderman whenever you exit.

Ben:Will do, boss.

End Act IV

Act V

(Setting:The Next day)

(Theres a knock on the door at Parker's house, Peter answers it and sees J.Jonah Jameson.)

Peter:Mr.Jameson?

Jonah:Good morning Parker.

Peter:Wh-what brings you here?

(He enters the house and Peter shuts the door)

Jonah:Business, I want to offer you your old job back.

Peter:My old job? I'm sorry Mr.Jameson but I really can't.

Jonah:What do you mean you can't?

Peter:Well I'm working with Harry, I mean Mr.Osborn on the new Oscorp.

Jonah:I am not asking you for much, only for you to help me track Spiderman. As you may know, he gave up his suit only to steal it back from Fisk.

Peter:Very sorry Mr.Jameson but I really have no time for Spiderman these days. I'm all about working for Harry Osborn and Oscorp.

Jonah:I am willing to offer you upwards of 50,000 dollars to do this one job of helping me capture Spiderman. This includes an additional bonus from Fisk.

Peter:This one is all you, Mr.Jameson. I have to get ready, Oscorp has a press conference in about an hour. I expect to see you there?

Jonah:I'm waiting to see how he runs it first. Until then I want nothing to do with Oscorp or any Osborn.

Peter:Suit yourself, Jonah. Enjoy your day and good luck with the Bugle.

Jonah(mumbling):I wonder what Eddie Brock is doing...

(Jonah exits and Peter shuts the door. There is another knock.)

Peter:Again, he just won't give up.

(He opens it showing a more muscular Ben)

Peter(angered):Oh its you.

Ben:I understand your frustration towards seeing me, Mr. Parker. But if I do say, I am very much sorry for what I've done to you. I hope we can start anew. Do you have time to talk?

Peter:Not really, I'm about to head to the press conference for Oscorp.

Ben:Ah yes, the press conference. Well Pete, tell me how it goes.

Peter:Wait, do you want me to ask Harry for your job back?

Ben:No thanks, I have a new employer and he is paying me handsomely.

Peter:What is your job, exactly?

Ben:I'm a researcher for Wildon Enterprises.

Peter:Oh, I've never really heard of that.

Ben:Its a new company owned by two private executives.

Peter:Sounds like it. Well I'll see you later.

Ben:I'll see you too...pal.

(He pats Peter's back placing the Spider Tracer on him)

(Later on we arrive at the press conference at city hall. On the stage platform we see Peter, Harry, Curt Conners, and Debra. A man comes on stage and gets on the mic.)

Man:Ladies and Gentlemen, the majority of owner of Oscorp...Mr. Harry Osborn.

(Harry gets up and on the mic)

Harry:I am pleased to announce the rebirth of Oscorp. Under my leadership and with an all-star crew of researchers including Dr. Curt Conners, the former lab professor at Empire State University, Debra Whitman, a very young and intelligent student of ESU, and Peter Parker, my best friend and future scientific prospect. Soon we hope for.....

(Peter's spider sense goes off)

Peter(in head):My Spider sense is going crazy.

(Out of nowhere a smoke bomb explodes onto the stage. Everybody on stage falls to the ground while the crowd runs away. Out of the smoke emerges Ben Reilly(as Spiderman).)

Guy in Crowd:Look its Spiderman!

(Reilly slings down and webs Osborn up. As the smoke clears Reilly speaks.)

Ben:Alright, if anyway comes near me, Osborn gets it! I am demanding well over 1 million dollars or else young Harry Osborn will meet the same fate of his father.

(He grabs Harry and slings away. Police officers draw their guns but Terri Lee spots them.)

Terri Lee:Don't shoot you might hit Osborn.

Peter(shouting at them):Harry!

End Act V
Act VI

(We find Peter storming into the Daily Bugle offices)

Peter(infuriated):Where's Jameson?

Robbie:He's in his office, on the phone. What is it Peter?

Peter:I need to speak with him immediately.

Robbie:I wouldn't want to bother him, this is a very important meeting.

Peter:This is more important than anything he has going.

(He walks into the office)

Jonah(baffled and angered):Parker? (to man on phone)Hold on...(to Peter)what do you want Parker?

Peter:I want to take the job.

Jonah:You had your chance and you blew it. Besides I got someone else on the phone.

(Peter unplugs the phone line)

Peter(angry):Not anymore...

Jonah(standing up angered):You got some real nerve Parker. I came to your home, in person, to offer you 50,000 plus with bonus only for you to spit in my face and not come to my help. You can forget about it Parker. Now get out of here before I call the police.

Peter:How much does he want for the job?

Jonah:What?

Peter:How much does he want?

Jonah:He wants 30,000, less than you.

Peter:I'll do it for free.

Jonah:Free? Are you...(realizing what he said). Well in that case you can have the job. What makes you want to do this anyways?

Peter:Money is useless without the people who mean the most to me.

Jonah:I'd disagree but thats just my opinion. Get to work, Parker. I am relying on you.

Peter:I'll do what I can for you (in head)and Harry.

End Act VI

Act VII

(We find Harry in a remote location nearby Kingpin's lair)

Harry(tied to a post):Where am I?

Reilly:Just relax Osborn, things will be ok.

Harry:Who are you?

Reilly(appearing in the shadows as Spiderman):They call me Spiderman...

Harry:Spiderman? Wh-why have you kidnapped me?

Reilly:For one reason to get revenge on your buddy Parker.

Harry:What did Pete ever do to you?

Reilly:More than you would think, Harry.

Harry:He spent years defending you though.

Reilly:But at the same time he double-crossed me by working for that slimeball Jameson.

Harry:What do you want for me?

Reilly:A million dollars, I figure that fat man Fisk can pay up.

Harry:I think Fisk is in on this.

Reilly:What makes you think that.

Harry:It was people like Fisk that caused my father to dissapear. I think you two were in on it.

Reilly:Thats just your opinion. It doesn't mean its right. Now if you excuse me I will be heading out.

Harry:What am I supposed to do down here?

Reilly:Survive

(He heads up and elevator to Fisk's office. Fisk turns around in his chair)

Fisk:So far a good job, Mr. Reilly.

Reilly:Truth be told, Mr. Fisk its easy.

Fisk:Any chances we'll be making this million dollars?

Reilly:Doubtful, but due to his close relation I feel Parker will send the real Spiderman to track him down and when that happens we'll have him trapped.

Fisk:I like your strategy Mr.Reilly.

(There is a beeping noise and Reilly looks at the Spider tracker device.)

Reilly:A-ha, it appears that he is now back at the house.

Fisk:What are you waiting for? Time is money, young Benjamin.

Reilly:Correct, Mr. Fisk.

(We head over to Peter's apartment where he sitting down on a desk writing)

Peter(in head):I just don't understand it. How exactly could someone mimmick my exact moves and yet never have been bitten by the spider? The better question is who is he?(Reilly appears in the Spider suit on the glass roof). Its as if(Spider sense), woah my Spider sense is going crazy but there is no danger around me. I should just get a shower and get some rest. Tomorrow morning I can strategize.

(He leaves the room and heads to his bedroom where he starts to pick out clothes. Reilly follows him by looking through Pete's bedroom window.)

Peter(in head):Again my Spider sense is going crazy and there is nothing near(as he looks around). Maybe the stress is making it go off.

(Peter exits the room and heads to the bathroom)

Reilly:Theres no use to watch that. Maybe I can use this time to check and see what he was writing.

(Reilly opens the window and heads toward the desk where Peter is writing. Meanwhile in the bathroom we find Peter looking in the mirror.)

Peter(in head):I'm 23 years old and I look 45. I really need to slow down.(He takes off his jacket from the suit he was wearing and throws it on the floor. He then notices the Spider tracker). Wait a minute(his Spider sense goes off)something is going on.

(He opens the door and peeks around the corner of the room to find Reilly(as Spiderman) looking through the notes.)

Peter(in head):Its him, that fake Spiderman. He's been watching me the whole time.

(Reilly turns around but Peter backs into the bathroom and semi shuts the door peaking through a crack as Reilly leaves through the front door and webs away. Peter goes back into the bathroom where he looks at the Spider tracer.)

Peter(in head):So this is how he found me. Someone has stolen my old technology and is using against me, but who? This is something that both Peter Parker and Spiderman has to do.

(He goes to his bedroom and closet and starts knitting together a new suit)

(Its the next morning we find Reilly back at Kingpin's lair)

Kingpin:Nice to see you Mr.Reilly, did you find anything at Parker's?

Reilly:He seems to be investigating it.

Kingpin:Hmm...that gives me an idea.

Reilly:What are you suggesting, boss?

Kingpin:Are you familiar with a criminal called The Shocker?

Reilly:Not quite

Kingpin:He's not too big on Spiderman either. My idea is that Parker will contact the real Spiderman to assist him with this deal.

Reilly:How do we plan on getting his attention?

Kingpin:Thats where technology comes into place. Recently, I acquired a device that allows me to hijack television broadcasts. Their is a very popular television show on DBTV. A signnificant amount of people will be tuning in. I feel this is the most effective way of getting a hold of Mr.Parker.

From there he will meet you at a certain area. I'd much prefer he'd meet you at an abandon warehouse by the docks. I will have The Shocker sitting on top of the building so he can get a good look as to where Spiderman may be coming from. You'll be meeting him later at this address(he hands him a piece of paper where the address is). We will pre-tape the broadcast to avoid any "revealing" mistakes.

Reilly:Alright boss, when are we filming this?

Kingpin:As soon as we get all equipment set up. Until then I want you to pick up The Shocker and bring him back there.

Reilly:Alright boss.

(We cut to Parker at the Daily Bugle with J. Jonah Jameson)

Jonah:So the wall crawler was at your house?

Peter:Yes

Jonah:Anything stolen?

Peter:No he was just looking through some things.

Jonah:Of what significance?

Peter:Just a few notes I took.

Jonah:On what?

Peter;The case, I think he was watching me for at least a few minutes.

Jonah:This seems like something else to me.

Peter:What are you saying?

Jonah:I'm saying that this sounds like an inside job?

Peter:Inside job?

Jonah:Yeah, I think Harry Osborn hired Spiderman to stage the kidnapping in an attempt for publicity.

Peter:Why would he do that?

Jonah:Look this was a secret, but towards the end of Norman Osborn running Oscorp, the company was bankrupt. My belief is he staged his own disapearence in an attempt to gain publicity and hopefuly finance. If Harry is anything like his father than he will do anything for cash. Its the "thing" these days with most people. They would do anything for cash, and I hate to accuse anyone for anything but I think you know well Parker that this is staged.

Peter:Staged? You think this is staged? Do you honestly think this is just some kind of game, Jonah? Harry Osborn is my best friend and I would never do anything to harm him nor would I be involved in such a thing as a kidnapping. It's true, you're nothing but a no good conspirater who just wants to "stir the pot". People like me have integrity.
People like you, J. Jonah Jameson have no integrity.

(Peter storms out of the office, Jonah follows him)

Jonah:Fine, Parker, you're fired! Someone get me that Callahan guy, again!

Act IX

(We find Peter walking into his apartment. It is there he finds Liz Allen Osborn)

Peter:Oh, Liz, you scared me.

Liz:I know, I look horrible. This situation with Harry has been a nightmare. I had to cut the trip short when I heard of the news. Why has Spiderman kidnapped Harry?

Peter:That man is not the real Spiderman. The real Spiderman would never kidnap someone for their own personal gain. He cares for everyone, including Harry.

Liz:Then how come he hasn't came to his aid, yet?

Peter(realizing he can't go on any further):I...I...really don't know.

Liz:Thats my point, he always helps out. Why won't he help now?

Peter:I wish I knew. Come on, things will work out. Let's just relax and watch some TV.

Liz:Thats easy for you to say, you're just a mere employee. He's the love of my life and I really don't want to lose him...(realizing what she just said)I'm sorry, it's just the whole situation has ruined my life. If anything happens to Harry, I really wouldn't know what to do. I'm going to go and get a shower, then I am going to go to sleep. I'll see you in a few.

(She walks away, Peter sits down and turns on the TV where a television show is airing, suddenly the screen turns to snow and moments later Ben Reilly(in the Spiderman suit) with Harry Osborn tied up and mouth taped shut, appears on the screen)

Reilly:We interupt our programming with this very important announcement. As you can see folks, young Harry Osborn is still alive...however, this can change. My orders are for Peter Parker to meet me at the Docks Warehouse at precisely 12:30am tonight. If Peter Parker fails to do this, Harry Osborn will be sacrificed in a simular manner that will make his father's vanishment look tame in comparison. I hope you're watching Mr. Parker...for Young Osborn's sake. That is all(shots of people standing outside a television store gasping).

(We go back to Peter where the phone rings)

Peter:Hello?

Jonah(on the other line):Parker!

Peter(angered):Now what do you want?

Jonah:I want to accompany you tonight when you meet with that jerk.

Peter:Why the sudden desire?

Jonah:I'm not going to let some freak in a mask, hi-jack my programming and use it to boost his own sorry ego.

Peter:I don't think this is a good idea. He said he just wanted me.

Jonah:That's all he is going to get. My plan is to stay within a good view of you two and observe what is happening. When you got him well-distracted, I'll come in and fire enough stun bullets to keep him out until a we fry him in the electric chair. Trust me, Parker, I have 40 years of experience when it comes to crooks like Spiderman.

Peter:Look I don't want you to do this, just stay home and get some rest, Jonah.

Jonah:Fine, you win Parker, but the reason we won't get anywhere in this case is because of you.

Peter:For the record, J.J., I work alone.

(He hangs up)

(Later we find Peter in a trenchcoat with the new Spiderman suit underneathe and the mask in pocket walking to where he is supposed to meet Reilly)

Peter(in head):Alright, I gotta make sure this goes right. One false move and Harry is done. I just hope Jameson listened to me.

(We show a far away shot of Peter from behind where Jonah pops up several feet back. Peter enters the area.)

Peter:Alright, Spidey(in head)if thats who you really are, (talking aloud)show yourself.

(Reilly walks out of the shadows in his Spiderman suit)

Reilly:Ah, Peter Parker, for years you've been a thorn in my foot.

Peter:If you were the real Spiderman, I'd agree with that.

Reilly:Elaborate, please?

Peter:The real Spiderman doesn't resort to holding men hostage such as Harry Osborn. He fights for people like him. I know this because I covered him for years. The fact remains, you're just a common crook the stole from Fisk.

Reilly:Interesting hypothesis, Mr. Parker. However, I feel you're wrong. If I wasn't Spiderman then how can I do this?

(He uses a flashlight and shows Harry Osborn hanging 30 feet high from a crane trapped in webbing)

Peter:Harry!

Reilly:If you make one false move, Parker, or fail to meet any demand of mine, then Mr.Osborn will be living the fishes, so-to-speak.

Peter:Fine, what do you want?

Reilly:You claim that I am not the real Spiderman, so I want you to produce Spiderman with you in an hour.

Peter:An hour? Thats insane?

Reilly:Its only appropriate, Mr. Parker. You have til 1:45 to do it, or its all over for Osborn.

Peter:Fine, I'll do it.

Reilly:I thought so, now go along, you have an hour. I will be here still.

Peter(walking away):Great, how I am supposed to produce myself and Spiderman?

Reilly(talking on a microphone lowly):Shocker, do you see the wall crawler anywhere?

Shocker:I haven't, but I'll keep looking.

Reilly(talking on mic):Alright, I'll...

(Out of nowhere J. Jonah Jameson appears from behind in a trenchcoat with gun)

Jonah:I think you should turn around web-head.

(Reilly turns around)

Reilly:Well isn't it J. Jonah Jameson, I told Parker to be alone.

Jonah:Unlike Parker, I'm not afraid of you. To me your just a joke.

Reilly:Ha, I can tell the truth, Jonah. Something the Bugle can't ever do.

Jonah:I got one thing right, you're a menace, a slimball, and a criminal.

Reilly:My friend would naturally agree.

Jonah:What friend?

(Jonah is punched in the back of the head by Shocker)

Shocker:Me, thats who.

(Meanwhile several feet away we see Peter walking when his spider sense goes off)

Peter(in head):Spider sense, danger.

(He turns around and sees the scene with Jameson, Shocker, and Reilly)

Peter(in head):Oh great, I should have known.

(He takes off the trenchcoat and puts on the mask. We cut back to Reilly standing over Jameson with his foot on his back)

Reilly:Ironic Jonah, for years you've wanted to crush the Spider, now the Spider is crushing you.

(Out of nowhere Peter, dressed as Spiderman webs in and stands on the roof of a building)

Peter:You know whats ironic? A phony calling out another phony

Reilly:How can? How did you get here so fast?

Peter:When it comes to late night tv and crimefighting, I take the latter.

Reilly:Get him, Shocker!

(Shocker fires electric shots at him and misses as Reilly gets off of Jonah and runs away. Peter webs from the roof and dropkicks Shocker in the face. Jonah gets up)

Jonah:So Parker was right, he isn't the real Spiderman.

Peter:..And you're not a real journalist.

(Peter runs after Reilly who runs up the stairs to the rooftop of the building. Soon Reilly runs out of room and is standing on the end of the roof facing the water)

Reilly:I am warning you, come any closer and Osborn gets it.

Peter:Just tell me who you are?

Reilly:I'm your worse nightmare Spiderman. You see everybody thinks that I am you. They will continue to think that when you're gone.

Peter:We'll see what happens

(Peter tackles Reilly and the two proceed to roll around on the roof smacking each other across the face. They continue going at it until Peter gets the upper-hand and starts stangling Reilly. Reilly knees Peter in the stomach and throws him off the roof. Reilly thinks its over and gets up and starts to walk away, only for Peter to swing back up from behind him. Reilly turns around and is kicked in the face by Peter.)

Peter:Now to find out who you really are.

(Peter goes to unmask him, but before he can, Jameson pops up with the gun and shots Peter)

Jonah:I'd be delighted to unmask the both of you.

(Jonah leans down to unmask Reilly but the Shocker appears behind him and shocks him)

Shocker:It's way past your bedtime, old man.(He leans down and helps Reilly up) You okay, boss?

Reilly(rubbing his jaw):I feel a lot better now. Take the old man and I'll grab Osborn from the crane.

Shocker:What about Spiderman?

Reilly:I'm sure the police would be delighted to find the mastermind behind this crime.

Shocker:I like the way you think.

End Act IX

Act X

(We find Reilly back at Kingpin's lair)

Kingpin:Ah, Mr.Reilly, welcome back. Whats the news?

Reilly:We have another hostage.

Kingpin:Ah, who may this be?

Reilly:J. Jonah Jameson

Kingpin:Ah, an interesting choice. However, I do feel that no money is to be made out of Jameson. If anything, they'd pay for us to take him out. What happened with Parker?

Reilly:He disappeared and then Spiderman showed up.

Kingpin:What happened with him?

Reilly:He put up a good fight before the old man shot him down.

Kingpin:Is he?

Reilly:I guess, I don't think it was fatal. I assume tho it is long enough for the police to come and arrest him.

Kingpin:So let me get this straight, you didn't make sure he was gone?

Reilly:Yeah I figure if he's alive the police would take him.

Kingpin(angered):Thats where your biggest problem lies, Reilly. You may have a college degree but you're far from a criminal mastermind. Your punishment will be deducted pay.

Reilly:Pay? What pay? I haven't seen a dime since this whole operation started.

Kingpin:You will get your pay when the task is complete.

Reilly:How much am I making anyways?

Kingpin:10 percent

Reilly:You got to be kidding me, we agreed to 50!

Kingpin:You forget Mr.Reilly, 30 percent of your pay is deducted for the purchase of that suit you wear and the other 10 is for your own stupidity. Shocker wasn't free either.

Reilly:This is rediculous. I am out of here. I've had enough of this pathetic kidnapping. We're getting no where and I can make as much working somewhere else for a more "moral" cause.

Kingpin:The door is over there, Mr. Reilly(Reilly begins walking to the door). If you leave, however, you won't have any future to speak of. Neither will your family.

Reilly(turning around):I'm not going to allow you to threaten me, Fisk.

Kingpin(pulling out a gun):You're forgetting, Mr. Reilly, I have a gun, you don't even have your own shooters. If you want to redeem yourself, I suggest you go through my next broadcast.

Reilly(defeated):What is it, Fisk?

Kingpin:I want you to hijack yet another television broadcast. This time I request that you demand for Mr.Parker to meet you at the same place, same time. However, warn him if Spiderman appears, Osborn and Jameson will be gone.

Reilly:Alright

Kingpin:Now get ready, the taping is in 15 minutes.

Act XII

(We find Peter back at his apartment writing)

Peter(in head):It just doesn't make any sense. There is no real link to anybody. I know the Kingpin had to stage the theft, yet it doesn't seem like him and nega-Spidey are linked. Perhaps it could be Silvermayne, he's wanted even with the Kingpin for so long. Oh, I just wish this would end.

(A scream is heard, Peter runs into the room where he finds Liz watching TV. On the TV is Reilly's broadcast in a dark room with him in the suit)

Reilly:Good evening and welcome to "The Spectacular Spiderman". I am your host Spiderman. Our guests tonight include a young owner of a Fortune 500 company. Allow me to introduce...Harry Osborn.

(The camera pans over to Harry sitting blindfolded on the ground tied to a post)

Reilly:Now young Harry Osborn, what words do you have to say to our audience?

Harry:Liz, if you're watching this I want to know that under any circumstances you do NOT pay any kind of bribe to this maniac. The fate of the company is much more important than my own life. However, I do wish that the NYPD catches you and locks you away for a long time.

Reilly:A confident man you are, your father was the same way and we all saw how THAT turned out. Our next guest is the owner of DBTV and the newspaper, The Daily Bugle. Without him this whole broadcast would've never happened. Allow me to introduce to you, J. Jonah Jameson!

Jonah:The only reason I allowed this blasphamous occasion to occur is so that the people watching can realize how much of a nutcase you really are. I admit in the past I've put down Spiderman, but the real one would never do anything this hostile. Admit it, you're an imposter! You're nothing but a 2-bit lying low-life thug who just makes his reputation off someone else's name. Without that suit and your lies you'd be already locked away.

Reilly:What makes you think I'm not the real Spiderman?

Jonah:For the fact that I saw the real one last night. He took you down with ease. If you had the guts to stand toe-to-toe with him rather than have some freak with an electric suit assist you, then you'd find yourself down and out in a matter of a mere seconds just like...

(Before he can finish talking, Reilly webs his mouth shut and punches him in the side of the head)

Reilly:Such big words coming from a man that just an hour ago was begging me for his life. If you're watching Peter Parker, at 12:30am you're to come alone to the same spot we met last night. If you fail to show up, alone or at all, then tomorrow night will be a "Very Special" edition of "The Spectacular Spiderman" for it will be the first ever live execution in the history of American Television. That is all folks, goodnight.

(The transmission goes away, we cut back to Peter standing angered with Liz sitting on the couch crying, she gets up and she cries his shoulder)

Liz:Peter, you have to save Harry. He is the best thing to ever happen to me and if I lose him I will lose all purpose in life.

Peter:Don't worry, I will save him(in head)and this time I will be ready.

End Act XII

Act XIII

(It is 12:30am we find Peter pulling up in a car wearing a trenchcoat with the Spiderman suit underneathe. He gets out and out of the fog steps Reilly in the Spiderman suit)

Reilly:Good evening, Mr. Parker, or should I say morning?

Peter:That doesn't matter, wheres Jameson and Osborn?

Reilly:Curiosity killed the cat, Pete.

Peter:Whats that supposed to mean?

Reilly:It means you'll end up like them if you do find out.

Peter:...and what is that?

Reilly:Dead

Peter:What do you mean?

Reilly:Chill out, they're gone...yet.

Peter:What do you want?

Reilly:24 million dollars in 24 hours.

Peter:You're insane!

Reilly:No, no, it should be easy. You can have 1/3 come from the Bugle, 1/3 from the former investors of Oscorp who care about Harry, and you can steal 1/3 with a little help from your friend the bug.

Peter:I thought you were the real Spiderman?

Reilly:I will be as soon as he is disposed of. I am better in every way, shape, and form.

Peter:What if I refuse to go through with this?

Reilly:The Osborn and Jameson will be terminated. Last time I checked Parker, you don't have a good track record when it comes to taking care of the ones you love. If I remember correctly, the last time Mary Jane Watson was seen was with you. If I also remember correctly, it was you who claimed to be rescuing Norman Osborn when his house exploded. Yet, Mr. Osborn was never found neither was you until the next day.

So this would be 4 people on you? Seems you ruin more lives than you save Pete.

(Peter grabs his costume collar and pins Reilly against the wall)

Peter(angered):She was the woman I loved. That is something you wouldn't know a thing about.

(Reilly pulls out a gun and slaps Parker across the face with it)

Reilly(completely ticked off):You really don't think that? Let me tell you something Parker, I've lost a girl too. She was the one woman I really loved the most. (He keeps talking)

Peter(in head):That voice, sounds so...familiar

Reilly:Its a shame, I was told not to kill you, but who cares what he says, its not like I'm getting paid or anything. Good bye, Parker

Peter:Not yet!

(He throws down one of Mysterio's hologram cubes, smoke appears and suddenly several Peter Parker's around Reilly. He fires shots at all of them. Until out of nowhere, Peter(in the Spiderman suit) runs up and webs the gun away and throws it in the water. Reilly charges at him but Peter pulls up on a web line he made. He swings back around and drop kicks Reilly in the chest sending him back through a bunch of trashcans. He then webs him to the wall. Reilly tries to power out but is stuck.)

Peter:That is REAL webbing. Strong enough to contain the strongest man. Now to see who you really are.

(He pulls off the mask revealing Ben)

Peter:You!

(He drops the mask and backs away a few steps)

Reilly:What were you expecting?

Peter:Why would you kidnap Harry?

Reilly:Because Spiderman, I need the money and I want the revenge.

Peter:Explain

Reilly:I was paid off by Fisk to do this job. He injected me with this "Super Hero Serum" that gave me the powers I have and gave me this suit. His instructions were to kidnap Harry Osborn and try to lure you. So we went after Parker. Only he could get a hold of you. I wanted revenge on your for I felt you and Parker were the ones that killed Mary Jane, the one woman I really loved. Look, I really don't want to go to jail, I have a promising life ahead of me.

So if you please, spare me Spiderman, I'm just a poor soul seeking fulfillment. I just want Mary Jane back, if you knew what she mean't to me, you would understand.

Peter:I do, Ben

Reilly(confused):How do you know my name?

Peter:Because I'm the reason you're in this.

(He takes off his mask)

Reilly(stunned):Pete? You're Spiderman? How...how can this be?

Peter:That doesn't matter now. Look, you want Fisk and I want Fisk. The best way to settle this is to release Osborn and Jameson and to take down Fisk once and for all.

Reilly:What about the police? They're going to want to capture "Spiderman".

Peter:I got a plan. Just take me to where they are.

End Act XIII

Act XIV

(We find Parker(as Spiderman) and Reilly(in normal clothes) walking into a warehouse)

Parker:Fisk sure has gotten lazy with the decorating.

Reilly:This is just a front. Come on, its behind this door.

(Reilly opens it and sees Fisk's guards)

Reilly:Scratch that, you ever crawled in a vent?

Peter:Too many times

(Peter goes through the vent while Reilly walks by the guards. Peter sees where Osborn and Jameson are and kicks down the vent and jumps out)

Harry:Whose there?

Peter:Harry relax, I'm here to save you.

(He pulls off the blindfold)

Harry:You again! I want no part of this!

(Reilly enters)

Reilly:Harry, its safe. This is the real Spiderman.

Harry:Ben? Wh-what are you doing here?

Reilly:I assisted Peter in the investigation and I came with Spiderman to help.

Harry:But where's Pete?

Peter:He's on standby with the police in the event something happens.

Harry:What about the other?

Peter:Gone, I pushed him off the roof at the docks and he may've drowned for all we know.

(He unmasks Jameson and takes the webbing off of him)

Jonah:I'd hate to do it, but I'll have to agree with him. This is the real Spiderman I can tell by the smell.

Peter:You don't smell too good yourself, picklepuss. Now, you two should get out of here.

Jonah:No way, not until I find out who is behind all of this.

Reilly:Mr.Jameson, your safety is more important than this.

Jonah:I'm a journalist first, Parker should be down here taking pictures.

Peter:Look, just go and get the police. We'll find out, ourselves. Just sit tight.

Harry:Come on, Mr.Jameson! This is a bit too risky

(Harry grabs Jonah and they exit, Peter and Ben head off)

Peter:Alright, remember what we discussed on the way over.

Reilly:Gotcha

(We jump to the interior of where The Kingpin is sitting at his desk on a laptop computer. Suddenly a video of Reilly appears on it.)

Kingpin:Ah, Mr. Reilly, how did it go?

Reilly:Take a look yourself!

(The camera pans down to show Peter(in the suit) on his back seemingly unconscious)

Kingpin:Not exactly what I had in mind, but I'll take it anyways.

(The Kingpin presses a button opening the door and Reilly, holding Pete's body enters)

Kingpin:Ah, you have yet to cease to amaze me, Mr. Reilly. Now let me find out who the webslinger really is.

(He leans over to unmask Pete, but he is stopped by Pete who shoots webbing into his eyes.)

Peter:Didn't your mother teach you ANY manners?

Kingpin:Reilly! Get him!

(Reilly fakes a punch on Pete only to get elbowed in the waist and punched on the side of the head)

Reilly(softly to Pete):Not so hard, I have enough headaches in a day.

Peter:You have to admit, you do semi-deserve it.

Reilly:Good point

(The Shocker appears and fires an electric bolt at Peter, but Peter bobs and weaves away slinging a web to the ceiling and swings around the area while Shocker keeps missing. All the while this all transpires Landon is firing and missing too.)

Peter(in head):So far the only damage I'm receiving is from spinning around. But I got to give Ben more time.(Speaking aloud)Come on Shocker, I know its been a while, but you'd got to remember SOMETHING that can beat me.

Shocker:Oh, I got a new trick up my sleeves.

(He smashes two of his fists together and creates a thunder ball. He launches it at Peter whcih breaks the web and sends him crashing to the floor, where Landon stands above him holding the stun gun.)

Landon:Now to put you away for good

(He aims to fire it, but is pulled from under his feet by Reilly who is laying crouched on the floor. Landon drops it and Peter picks it up, but not before webbing him to the floor)

Shocker(from behind Reilly):So, looks like we got a little spoiled trader in here(he goes to punch Reilly but is shot by the stungun by Peter sending him to the floor temporarily unconscious.

Reilly:Look out!

(From behind The Kingpin grabs Peter putting him in a full nelson. It causes Pete to drop his gun. The Kingpin then throws Peter down hard enough to nearly knock the wind out of him.)

Kingpin:Finally, you're at my mercy Spiderman.

Peter:You got a point Kingpin, I think you've finally won.

Kingpin:You have to remember, you may have the power, but I have the money to buy that power. Unfortuantely it fell into the wrong hand(glancing at Reilly). Like my father once said, "sacrifices must be made". I'm afraid Mr. Reilly and for you Spiderman, your time on this earth is very short. The same applies for Osborn and Jameson as soon as I finish you both.(He pulls out a pistol-esqe gun and aims it toward Reilly). Any last words, Mr. Reilly?

Reilly:The camera adds 10 pounds Fisk.

Kingpin:Elaborate please?

Reilly:You may believe our time is up, but yours is over.

Kingpin(putting the gun down):I'm not following...

Reilly:You see Fisk, once again, you've been had, the entire city of New York(shots of people watching the event on televisions in different locations)knows it was you behind all of this.

Kingpin:If I have to go down, then so must you.

(He goes to pull the trigger when Peter webs the gun out of his hands. Kingpin then stomps on Peter's chest when Reilly turns off the camera, fires several webs around Fisk, and pulls the wall out from behind him nailing him in the head and knocking him over and unconscious. Reilly walks over and helps Peter up.)

Peter:Good work

Reilly:You think we can hold him here for a while?

Peter:Just long enough for the police to get here.

Reilly:Whats going to happen to me?

Peter:If you agree to a deal I propose, then I will claim your innocent.

Reilly:What about Fisk?

Peter:He just confessed to everybody in New York that he was behind it and besides I think Jonah and Osborn will agree that it wasn't either of us.

Reilly:So what exactly is this deal?

(We fade out as he finishes his last line and we cut to Peter's apartment where he is watching a news report)

Reporter:New Yorkers saw yet another strange broadcast as Wilson Fisk confessed to the kidnappings of Harry Osborn and J. Jonah Jameson. Fisk and his associates Herbert Landon, and Herm Schultz, also known as The Shocker. The mysterious fake Spiderman disapeared into the East River according to the real Spiderman and his associate Benjamin Reilly.

(The reporter keeps talking, but someone has stepped in front of the TV)

Peter(no longer in costume):Looking sharp

(We show Reilly in full costume)

Reilly:I can't believe I'm agreeing to this.

Peter:I think you can do Spiderman real well.

Reilly:So what about income and housing?

Peter:I'll split my salary and you can still live here with Harry, I, and Liz.

Reilly:Better than jail.

(A police radio announces a robbery in place)

Peter:You sure you're ready?

Reilly:If I can take you, I can take anyone

(He climbs into the window and webs off)
